Mrs. Amanda Bourgeois, 80, of Foyer Dr. Camille E. Gaudet, St. Joseph, died Tuesday at the residence after a lengthy illness.

Amanda LeBlancBorn in Memramcook East, she was a daughter of the late Marc (Maximin) and Cresence (Cormier) LeBlanc. She attended Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes Roman Catholic Church, Memramcook East.

She is survived by her husband, Patrice (Pat) Bourgeois; two daughters, Mrs. Aldérice LeBlanc (Jeanne) of Moncton and Mrs. Roger Melanson (Dora) of Memramcook East; five sons, George of College Bridge, Léonard of Memrameook East, Eugène of Moncton, Walter of St. Joseph and Danny of Belliveau Village; a brother, Lucien of Dieppe; 19 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. A daughter, Florence, two sons, Alyre and Donald, three sisters, Mélendée, Rosanna and Jeanne, and four brothers, Narcisse, Camille, Willie and Fred, died previously.

The body is at Dupuis Funeral Home, Memramcook. Funeral mass will be celebrated Friday at Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes Roman Catholic Church at 7 p.m. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
